The CNAS is preparing to integrate digital certification into its administrative processes to modernize operations and reduce paperwork.
Algeria's National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) is moving towards digital document processing with the planned integration of electronic signatures. A meeting between the interim Director General of CNAS and the Director General of the Government Authority for Electronic Certification (AGCE) focused on implementing this digital certification into the document handling workflow.
This initiative is part of the CNAS's broader strategy to modernize its management systems and accelerate its digital transition. The move aims to streamline the processing of a large volume of documents handled by payment centers, progressively replacing paper with digital formats. This transition is expected to significantly lower administrative and technical burdens.
The collaboration between CNAS and AGCE marks a significant step in coordinating technical and organizational aspects for the project's launch. By adopting electronic signatures, the agency seeks to improve efficiency and reduce the operational costs associated with managing extensive paper-based records.
Why it mattersAlgerian citizens will experience faster processing of administrative documents related to social security.
