Nadia Massé coaches Algerian gymnastics

French-Algerian coach Nadia Massé has been developing Algerian gymnastics since 2018.

Nadia Massé, coach to Olympic champion Kaylia Nemour, has been working with Algerian gymnastics since 2018. Born in France in 1978 to an Algerian father from Oran and a Spanish mother, Massé's connection to Algeria deepened when she began volunteering with the Algerian Gymnastics Federation. She seeks to contribute to the sport's development in the country.

Massé's personal history is linked to Algeria through her father, Noureddine Boudjellal, who emigrated from Oran to France in 1967. Although her first name, Nadia, was inspired by Romanian gymnast Nadia Comăneci, her surname is from her marriage. She has three children and maintains a strong bond with her Algerian heritage.

In 2022, Massé visited Oran during the Mediterranean Games, attempting to locate her grandmother's grave. Her involvement with Algerian gymnastics began after a professional disagreement with the French Gymnastics Federation. She aims to use her experience to benefit Algerian athletes.
