Atalia Modesta Baha Ondo appointed director general of the Vice Presidency's office
Atalia Modesta Baha Ondo, formerly head of the press and image cabinet, takes on a new leadership role within the Vice Presidency.
Atalia Modesta Baha Ondo has been appointed the new director general of the Cabinet of the Vice Presidency of the Republic. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in media and institutional communication.
Baha Ondo previously served as deputy minister of Information, Press, and Radio from August 2020 to February 2023. Her career began at Televisión Guinea Ecuatorial and Asonga, where she worked as a presenter and reporter before becoming press attaché at the Equatorial Guinean Embassy in China.
Before her latest appointment, she directed the Press and Image Cabinet of the Vice Presidency since 2018, where she spearheaded institutional communication initiatives. She studied Political Science at the National University of Equatorial Guinea and has undertaken courses in image, presentation, and business management.
