The Tripoli Ministry of Health announced the launch of the "Nabd 2" (Pulse 2) campaign yesterday at the National Centre for Cardiac Treatment and Surgery in Tajoura. This initiative is part of a national plan to localize medical treatment and reduce the burden on citizens, aligning with the Tripoli-based Libyan government's efforts to enhance national health services. The campaign, which commenced on September 6, focuses on performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures for adults.
The "Nabd 2" campaign aims to expedite patient access to specialized medical services, shorten waiting lists, and deliver advanced treatments domestically. This will be achieved through specialized national medical teams offering early screening, medical assessment, and diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization for patients requiring it based on medical evaluation. The campaign builds on the success of "Nabd 1," which eliminated its waiting list.
Following the success of the "Nabd 1" campaign, "Nabd 2" aims to continue this progress by expanding access to specialized cardiac services. It offers renewed hope to heart patients, enabling them to receive necessary care within the country at the highest standards of quality and healthcare. The campaign focuses on providing advanced treatment services domestically.
