Attendees at the ceremony included prominent political and military figures, such as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, the First Deputy Speaker, Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, the Second Deputy Misbah Douma, Prime Minister Osama Hammad, and Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar described the university as a beacon of knowledge and a symbol of Libyan resilience.
