Ryanair adds 17 new Morocco routes

The airline will offer 5.3 million seats across 156 routes in its largest winter program for Morocco.

Ryanair is launching 17 new routes in Morocco for its winter 2026 program, its largest ever in the country, offering 5.3 million seats on 156 routes. This expansion adds 600,000 seats, a 12% capacity increase, connecting Morocco to 14 countries via 13 airports.

CEO Eddie Wilson announced the new routes from Germany, the UK, and Ireland, coinciding with the opening of Ryanair's fifth Moroccan base in Rabat with two aircraft. This new base brings the total number of Ryanair aircraft in Morocco to 16, with plans to station more of the 300 aircraft on order over the next seven years.

The airline's expansion represents a $1.6 billion investment and supports over 8,500 local jobs, according to the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT). Wilson stated that international tourists typically spend between €700 and €1,000 per stay, benefiting local businesses and boosting destinations beyond major tourist hubs.
