The caravan's visit to Maradi, following stops in Diffa and Zinder, was presided over by regional and local officials. The Administrator Delegate of Maradi, Colonel-major Abdoulaye Moussa Garba, emphasized that general mobilization should be understood as citizen engagement for Niger's superior interests and encouraged youth to reject hate speech. The organizing committee highlighted Maradi's economic importance and its role as a bulwark of national sovereignty.
The caravan conveyed a message of unity and fraternity, seeking to align it with the dynamism of the Maradi region's population. Organizers reaffirmed their support for the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP) and the transitional government. The Deputy Secretary General of the region stated that the general mobilization, decreed by the President, is ongoing and exemplified by this caravan, which is part of a series of such initiatives.
