Angola and Japan are exploring enhanced cooperation in key economic sectors, following a meeting in Luanda between Angolan Minister of Planning Victor Hugo Guilherme and a Japanese business delegation led by Ambassador Hiroaki Sano. The discussions focused on maritime transport, logistics, and financial services, areas identified as having significant potential to stimulate national production, improve goods distribution, and strengthen Angola's connections to regional markets.

Minister Guilherme highlighted food security and human capital development as national priorities, advocating for the adoption of new agricultural technologies, training of skilled personnel, and integrated development of economic corridors, including the Lobito and Southern Corridors.
