The Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Authority (ECTA) and DHL Express Ethiopia signed a deal on November 3 to improve coffee export capacity. The partnership, part of DHL’s GoTrade programme, aims to enhance knowledge of international trade, logistics, and customs for Ethiopian coffee businesses.

ECTA Director Office head Sefissa Ababu stated the agreement will equip enterprises with skills for international markets, improving competitiveness and value addition. DHL Express Ethiopia Commercial Manager Yonas Sbhat noted that while demand for Ethiopian coffee is strong, customs and logistics can be barriers, especially for growing businesses.
