Libya parliament to debate unified public sector pay scale
Teachers demand action as lawmakers review salary legislation that has exposed divisions among public employees.

Teachers on strike are pressing for immediate approval of the legislation, linking it to outstanding salary entitlements. The Tripoli Court of Appeal has also cautioned parliament against changing judicial pay without consulting the Supreme Judicial Council.
