The Mauritian government plans to dismantle Airport Holdings Ltd and restructure its operations, Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam announced in Parliament on Tuesday. This move aims to address issues with responsibilities and potential conflicts within the company's entities.

Ramgoolam stated that action has already begun to review the current structure. He also addressed the potential re-listing of Air Mauritius Ltd on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius, noting it was delisted during voluntary administration when the company was near bankruptcy under the previous administration.

Air Mauritius is still in a recovery phase after exiting voluntary administration, with the priority being to strengthen its financial foundations and ensure long-term viability. A re-listing on the stock exchange will only be considered once this situation is consolidated.
