Two fugitives recaptured in Mauritius
Stéphane Perrine and Jeff Wendy Leonel Domingue escaped on Saturday and were found Sunday.
Two men, Stéphane Perrine, 29, and Jeff Wendy Leonel Domingue, 35, were recaptured less than 24 hours after escaping from the Rivière-des-Anguilles police station. They were found on Sunday, November 1.
The escape occurred on Saturday evening, October 31. The two individuals slipped out of their cell while a police officer was attending to another detainee who required urgent medical care. They remain in police custody.
Their brief escape ended on November 1. The police have not announced any further steps beyond their continued detention.
