A specialized medical campaign offers free dermatological services to people with albinism across Mozambique.
People with albinism are receiving specialized and free medical attention as part of the VII Dermatological Expedition. This campaign, running from the 5th to the 28th of this month, is taking place in the provincial hospitals of Tete, Inhambane, and Xai-Xai, as well as the Beira General Hospital and the central hospitals of Nampula and Maputo.
The initiative is promoted by the International Laboratory of Photoprotection and Dermatology. The expedition aims to provide essential dermatological care to individuals with albinism, addressing specific health needs related to their condition. This outreach is crucial for early detection and treatment of skin conditions prevalent among this population.
