A South African coaching duo has excelled in Eswatini's Ingwenyama Cup. Mandla Qhogi, formerly of Orlando Pirates DDC, was named Outstanding Coach of the 2026 edition, while his striker Senzo Ndlovu, a former AmaZulu marksman, received the Player of the Tournament award. Qhogi led the Nsingizini Hotspurs team to their first-ever title in the Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accidents Fund-sponsored competition.
For his coaching achievement, Qhogi received a E10,000 replica cheque and credited club President Derrick Shiba, the technical team, players, and fans. He expressed that receiving an award from His Majesty King Mswati III was a special feeling for him as a South African. Ndlovu pocketed E15,000 for his influential role in the title-winning run, narrowly missing the top scorer award.
Nsingizini Hotspurs are now a target for other teams this season following their treble-winning campaign last term.
