The non-profit association aims to improve access to quality education for all Chadian children and youth.

The Association Agir pour l'Éducation au Tchad (APET) officially launched its activities in N'Djamena on Friday, October 23, 2026. The non-profit, apolitical, and non-confessional organization aims to transform interest in education into concrete contributions for the country's development.

APET's president, Allayanmal Kladegue, outlined the association's vision to ensure every Chadian child and young person has access to quality education, covering formal schooling, vocational training, literacy, and intergenerational learning. The organization's work will focus on six priority areas, including promoting access for vulnerable groups and girls, supporting local initiatives, and strengthening the capacities of educators.

The association plans to build a network of skills, forge institutional partnerships, and implement pilot actions like tutoring and mentoring. APET also announced the upcoming creation of a Citizenship and Education Laboratory and has a platform for public membership to support its mission.
