Chad trains 34 agents for reproductive health data

NGO OASIS-Tchad completed a two-week training for 34 agents in Moundou to collect family planning data.

34 agents, including 24 female data collectors and 10 team leaders, have been trained to gather reproductive health information in Moundou. The training, organized by NGO OASIS-Tchad under the Family Planning Impact Lab project, concluded on November 4, 2026, after two weeks of capacity building. The agents will now collect data on family planning and reproductive health across Chad.

The closing ceremony in Moundou was led by Dr. Djimadoum Dionadji, the chief medical officer for the Moundou health district. He was joined by Dougssa Rita, the country representative for OASIS-Tchad, and reproductive health focal points from the Logone occidental and Mandoul health delegations. This initiative aims to ensure the collection of reliable data for reproductive health services.

The training began on October 19, 2026, and focused on preparing the selected agents for their fieldwork. The collected data will support family planning efforts in the country.
