Tunisia podcasts festival returns after three-year break
The Podcast Days event will feature creators from Algeria and Marseille, celebrating sound creation.
The Tunisia Podcasts Festival, known as Podcast Days, will take place in Tunis on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event will be held at the auditorium of the Institut français de Tunisie (IFT) and L’Art Rue (Dar Bach Hamba) in the medina. This festival celebrates sound creation through meetings, masterclasses, round tables, public recordings, and immersive experiences.
Entry to the festival is free upon registration, following a three-day event in December 2023 that gathered podcasters, listeners, and professionals. This year's event is more condensed, featuring an opening evening, a full day, and a closing evening. Guests from Algiers and Marseille are expected to attend.
Raouia Kheder, founder of the Tunisia Podcasts Festival, stated that Tunisian podcasts have grown significantly since 2023, finding their voices, audiences, and models. She added that the Podcast Days aim to provide a space for creators to meet, learn, and observe work from across the Mediterranean.
