Djibouti oil jetty begins operations

The Damerjog Liquid Bulk Port facility aims to become a redistribution hub for East Africa.

The Damerjog oil jetty, operated by Damerjog Liquid Bulk Port (DLBP), a subsidiary of GHIH, has begun operations. Commercial oil storage depots are also developing within the Damerjog industrial park.

French group Rubis, which specialises in oil storage and distribution, visited the site to discuss cooperation. The goal is to make Damerjog a redistribution platform for the Horn of Africa and beyond.
