Malian cooperative members receive governance training

Over 180 members of six cooperatives in Macina and Kokry are attending a training program to improve their economic management and market access.

More than 180 members from six cooperative societies in the communes of Macina and Kokry began a series of training sessions on October 20. The initiative, part of the Tisal project funded by BMZ, aims to enhance participants' skills in governance, economic management, and commercial negotiation.

The training is being implemented by the NGO Donilab. Participants will also learn strategies to improve their access to markets, a key component of strengthening their cooperative operations and economic viability.

This program is designed to equip cooperative members with essential tools for better business practices and market engagement, ultimately contributing to their livelihoods and the local economy.
