Senegal's U18 basketball team, the Lionceaux, defeated Lithuania 21-12 on Friday in their second match at the JOJ Dakar 2026 tournament. This victory follows their earlier win against Algeria (16-13) and secures their place in the quarter-finals.
The match, played at 17:15 at the Complexe du tour de l’oeuf, saw Frédéric Clovice Mané lead Senegal with 13 points. Ibrahima Ndiaye contributed 4 points, Sacoura Diop scored 3, and Papa Mamadou Cissé added 1 point. The team achieved this success without losing a group stage game.
