Senegal's Kiiraay party mobilises in Kolda
Younoussa Mballo urges support for President Faye's development plans and criticises opposition inaction.
Younoussa Mballo, a founding member of the Kiiraay party, is leading mobilisations in the Fouladou region of Kolda. He is presenting President Bassirou Diomaye Faye's development projects to local populations. Mballo stressed the importance of informing people about the party's goals for regional and national progress, including initiatives for women's empowerment, youth employment, infrastructure, health, and education.
Mballo criticised the opposition for what he called their 'irresponsible' failure to approve the LFR, stating it hinders the population's well-being. Speaking to militants and supporters in Sinthiang Tountouroung, he argued that strengthening the presidential movement is essential to counter an opposition lacking a credible program for the people.
The Kiiraay party, also known as the patriots-republicans, continues its expansion across Fouladou through significant public gatherings. This outreach aims to consolidate support for the current administration's agenda.
