Victoria Falls entertainment spot ordered to lower music volume

A High Court ruling restricts Tshisa Nyama's music hours following a complaint from a local hospitality operator.

Victoria Falls' Tshisa Nyama entertainment spot must now play music at reduced volumes after a High Court ruling. The order follows a successful court application by Mosskatte Investments (Pvt) Ltd, a local hospitality operator. This decision raises questions about potential future noise restrictions for other entertainment venues in the area.

Justice Nokuthula Moyo of the Bulawayo High Court issued the order last week. Tshisa Nyama is now prohibited from playing loud music after 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends. The ruling was based on complaints of excessive noise pollution from the venue located on Livingstone Way.

The court's decision could lead to similar noise control measures being imposed on other bars and nightclubs. This ruling directly impacts the operating hours and atmosphere of entertainment establishments in Victoria Falls.
