Cameroon bars 65 firms from contracts over fraud

The ministry's 2025 report, published on November 2, 2026, also revealed a rise in contract terminations. 99 contractors had their contracts ended due to their own failures, up from 46 in 2024. Of these, 49 cases involved abandoned projects, according to 26 contracting authorities.

The budget execution reports for 2024 and 2025 provided the basis for these figures. The value of the terminated contracts and the extent of unfinished work were not specified in the reports.
