The workshop focused on the methodological coherence and operational viability of census tools, including cartography, household questionnaires, and agricultural modules.
Recommendations included verifying administrative boundaries and local names, testing access procedures to difficult areas, and preserving the independence of the post-census survey. Specialists also proposed applying additional modules for detailed agricultural production information.
Why it mattersThe validation of census instruments will lead to more precise and reliable data on the country's population and agricultural activities.
