Republic of Congo forum to discuss business climate
The fifth Vox Éco Forum on November 24 will focus on private investment and economic reform.
The fifth Vox Éco Forum will take place in Brazzaville on November 24, focusing on "Business Climate: The Lever for Private Investment." Organized by Groupe Vox Congo, the event will bring together public officials, entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and financiers to discuss the country's economic challenges and propose concrete actions for reform.
This forum addresses the critical need for economic diversification and private sector growth in the Republic of Congo. Despite ongoing reforms and existing entrepreneurial potential, challenges such as administrative burdens, taxation, legal security, and difficulties in mobilizing capital continue to hinder investment and affect business confidence.
The forum aims to identify obstacles, review current reforms, and foster structured public-private dialogue for pragmatic solutions. Three panels will cover reforms and attractiveness, catalyzing investment through expertise and financing, and the expectations and blockages faced by the private sector. Participation is by invitation or prior registration.
Why it mattersEntrepreneurs and investors in the Republic of Congo face administrative, fiscal, and legal hurdles that the forum aims to address.
